Gentle Gina.... A Continuing Story of God's Grace.

God is so good! God is sooo good!!! Can I get an "Amen"??? Please click here to read more about Gentle Gina's continuing journey of healing from "worthless" to an instrument of God's Grace through Canines4Christ.

May I pray for you?

If you would like me to pray for you or someone you love, please send me an e-mail. I have a tender heart for you, my brothers and sisters, and will genuinely pray for you by name (first name only please).  I will create a "Prayed For" list and put first names only (or Anonymous # 1, Anonymous # 2, etc.) AFTER I have personally said a prayer for you and/or your loved ones. Unspoken prayer requests are welcome also and will be listed as Unspoken # 1, Unspoken # 2, etc. When you see your name on the "Prayed For" list, you will know that you have a sister in Christ who has genuinely prayed for you and brought your prayer request to our Father's Throne.

Gentle Gina.... A Continuing Story of God's Grace....

I adopted "Gentle Gina" on January 3, 2017. Tomorrow February 22, 2017, I will add the first photos and videos I took of Gentle Gina and tell you how she got her name. Photos will be up by 12pm noon so you can browse her photos and videos and read more of her story tomorrow during your lunch hour or whenever is a good time for you. Every Tuesday and Saturday I will add more of Gentle Gina's story by the end of the day. I hope you will join me and Gentle Gina for her journey of healing. We are glad you came and would love to have your prayers for healing for Gentle Gina. I'm glad you came and hope you will visit again soon. Love to you from Gentle Gina & very blessed owner Helen Mullen :-)

I found Gentle Gina on www.petfinder.com. Her original information said that she was brought into a 'kill' shelter after being found as a stray starving to death on the streets. When she was rescued from the 'kill' shelter by VIP Rescue, Gentle Gina had NO name other than # 240 which is tattooed on her ear. A kind-hearted worker at VIP Rescue changed her "name" from breeding dog # 240 to "Gentle Gina". Her name describes her perfectly. Gentle - She is a super-duper tender-hearted snuggly sweetheart who just wants to love and be loved. Gina - means "Queen" in Italian and she holds herself with a quiet dignity that is very regal.

These photos are of Gentle Gina today 2-22-2017 (7 weeks with me). As you can see from the photos, she is still very traumatized and scared. I have to take her with me 24/7 or she has panic attacks, extreme anxiety, violent shaking from fear, and fear of abandonment. She loves the soft grass in my backyard as opposed to the chicken wire crate she was imprisoned in. Sometimes she hops and jumps playfully in the grass and her happy little spirit comes out for just a moment as she forgets herself and allows herself to let down her guard and feel safe and be happy for just a moment. She has a very pretty long "flag" tail and it is beautiful to see her prance around the yard smiling with her head held high and her "flag" tail waving. Here are some photos to enjoy.
